ESG: Maldy Italiana’s Sustainability Model
For us at Maldy Italiana, sustainability means balance — between respect for the environment, care for people, and responsible business management.
We are a dynamic Italian company, founded in the 1960s from the vision of two families who transformed their passion for research in the trichological sector into a professional and industrial activity, later acquired in 1988 by the Ferrari family.
The focus of our research and development, as well as our production activities, is entirely dedicated to the segment of treatment, haircare, and styling products, as well as products for face, body, hair, and skin.
The core business of our company revolves around the research and development of innovative formulations capable of meeting — and even anticipating — the needs of the professional market worldwide.
Over the years, this approach has allowed us to establish long-term partnerships with both Italian and international clients for the development and production of their commercial lines.
We are an excellent example of an “Extended Factory”, based on a coordinated and continuous relationship between manufacturer and client. We don’t limit ourselves to production activities alone — we act as our clients’ Main Contractor: from the development of tailor-made formulations to the coordination and supervision of all other activities, up to the finished product and after-sales support.
Our Commitment to a Sustainable Future
A journey of environmental, social, and governance responsibility aimed at contributing to the well-being of the planet and its people.
In an era when climate change, biodiversity loss, pollution, and environmental issues represent an increasingly urgent global challenge, it is essential to take an active role in safeguarding our fragile ecosystem. We have chosen to report, through a sustainability report, the environmental, social, and economic impacts of our company, with the aim of defining the starting point of a path toward greater corporate sustainability.
As time goes by, we are called to become increasingly aware of our actions and daily choices that can influence the environment and social well-being. Only through greater understanding and collective commitment can we protect delicate ecosystems and ensure a sustainable future for the next generations.
For these reasons, we have implemented an ESG system, promoting Environmental, Social, and Governance policies.
